Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change at any moment, and when it comes to travel, unforeseen events can cause significant disruptions. If for any reason you need to cancel an existing reservation for our tours or transportation services, here’s what you need to know:

Cancellation Request
- Process: Any cancellation request must be initiated by email to info@goldblacktravelservices.com.
- Required Information: Please include all reservation details in your email to ensure the cancellation is processed efficiently.

Refund Eligibility
In certain cases, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund depending on:- The reason for your cancellation.
- The number of days prior to the start of the tour or transportation service that the cancellation request is received.
- The expenses incurred by the guide or company to prepare for your tour or transportation service.

Incurred Expenses
GoldBlack Travel Services is not responsible for any incidental expenses you may have incurred as a result of purchasing your tour or transportation service, such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights, loss of enjoyment, etc. -
Cancellations Due to Force Majeure
If you cancel or are unable to take your tour or transportation service due to force majeure, GoldBlack Travel Services will refund the amount you paid up to a limit of $500 USD. If you paid more than $500 for your tour or transportation service, GoldBlack Travel Services will refund the amount paid less any non-recoverable out-of-pocket costs incurred on your behalf (e.g., car rentals, admissions, hotel reservations, tickets, etc.). We may require verification to confirm that you were unable to take your tour or transportation service if you request a refund under this provision.Definition of Force Majeure
Force Majeure includes impersonal events such as war, civil insurrection, strikes, volcanic eruptions, extreme weather conditions, earthquakes, or natural disasters that make it dangerous or impossible to safely undertake the tour or transportation service. The determination of what constitutes ‘Force Majeure’ is at the discretion of GoldBlack Travel Services. However, a travel warning issued by the U.S. Department of State AFTER you book your tour or transportation service, or if you are on a ship and it is unable to dock for any reason, will cover you under this provision. -
Cancellations for Other Reasons
For cancellations due to any other reason (such as illness, change of personal circumstances), the date on which the cancellation request is received by GoldBlack Travel Services will determine the refund due as follows:- Cancellation 30 days or more before the start of the tour or transportation service: No cancellation fee. We will refund the full amount paid.
- Cancellation between 29 and 3 days before the start of the tour or transportation service: 30% cancellation fee. If you have paid for your tour or transportation service in full, we will issue a refund of 70%. If you only paid a deposit, we will refund only the amount paid in excess of 30% of the tour or transportation service price.
- Cancellation 48 hours or less before the start of the tour or transportation service: 100% cancellation fee.

Refund Processing Time
All refunds will be processed and completed within a maximum of 10 business days from the approval of the cancellation request. -
Company-Initiated Cancellations
In some cases, the company may cancel a tour or transportation service due to weather or other circumstances. If the company cancels the tour or transportation service, you may choose between:- Rescheduling the tour or transportation service.
- A full refund of all amounts paid.
- A credit towards an alternative tour or transportation service. If you choose to accept a credit, any difference in the cost of the alternative tour or service will be refunded or paid by you as applicable.
